Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico. She is an American Mexican actor. She also sings. Raised by her mother within the USA she had to face numerous racial insults that made her feel being a bit unpopular. As she entered the 9th grade she started to feel more secure after being acknowledged by her teachers as a success for singing at a school's audition. It not only increased her confidence but her dreams transformed. At the age of 22, she graduated from New York's Julliard School. At the age of 23 she began her career making her debut at the Broadway with Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films featuring You've Got Mail. The part in The Lady of The Lake is her greatest breakthrough, bringing an award for her performance, the Tony Award in addition to critical acclaim for her performance. In 2007, she was cast on the ABC series Grey's Anatomy and became more well-known. She is known as a performer and released her own single and an extended show. In addition, she's an activist and works extensively for LGBT rights.
