Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has been awarded numerous prizes for her writing and design. She has been a vocal advocate for the rights of animals. Her movies include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). When she was in New York, she was born and raised into an creative family. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, before progressing to acting and modeling. The first two films she made were noticed, and she was awarded the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw became a household name after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was selected for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. Within three years she had been voted as the number one female box-office starter in the whole world. Her footprints, handwritten in 1972 and autograph were engraved at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Some of the films she's been in are The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw married three people.
