The childhood of Pickler was not a smooth one. As a toddler the mother of her fled from an unfaithful relationship. Then, in 1995, she re-entered to Pickler's world and gained custody. It was, however, not a good encounter. Pickler went back to her parents when she was 12 years old. Her grandparents brought her through to adulthood. Pickler was, in the absence of her parents and her older siblings, became busy to be a mother. The time she had was limited and she learned how to look after her family at a young time.
