born Kellie Dawn Pickler on June 28 1986 Pickler experienced a turbulent childhood. When she was only two, she was abandoned by her mother to escape from an abusive marriage. Then, in 1995, she re-entered into the world of Pickler and was granted custody. But things did not turn around as planned. Pickler aged 12 was remanded to her parents through the court. They raised her till she was old enough to be an adult. Pickler, in the absence her parents and her older siblings, became busy to have a family. Pickler admitted she didn't get enough time for school and began learning to become a housewife in the early years. Pickler was on the teams for cheerleading in both high school and middle school. North Stanly High School graduated her in 2004. Pickler is also a contestant in a beauty pageant. The title was Miss Stanly Country.
