Lisa Olivia Munn grew up in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and is of Chinese roots, but her dad Winston Barrett Munn comes from the Southern part of the family. Her parents divorced when she was the age of two. She was raised by her mother who was in the United States Air Force, as well as her stepfather. Although the family departed Oklahoma and lived in a variety of places, she was educated in Tokyo, Japan. During this time she was a part of a number of local theater productions, and then was a model for the Japanese fashion industry. Olivia was able to move from Japan to Los Angeles when her family eventually moved back home to America. United States to follow her dream to be an actress. Through a string of small performances, Olivia achieved success in her first major role in the role of Mily Acua on the Hawaii filmed TV program Beyond the Break 2006 and the receptionist for Rob Schneider. She hosts G4 podcasts such as "The Daily Nut,"" "Formula D," along with "Formula D." It is her favorite pastime and she has been practicing it since the TV series Beyond the Break (2006). She also has an black belt in Taekwondo. At the age of two, her mother got married. The second time, she got married to the son of a US Air Force serviceman. Although the family relocated many times, she was primarily raised at Tokyo, Japan, where her stepfather's military was stationed. The university she attended was her studies at University of Oklahoma, where she majored in journalism and minored in Japanese and drama arts.
