Luciana Paoluzzi grew-up at home in Rome together with her mother and father. Luciana Paoluzzi's father is an Italian Army officer, and Maria Rota Paoluzzi's mom was the former lover of Benito Mussolini. It is not known if she had having siblings. Luciana attended a local school before matriculating to the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of the only women in the class. After two years of study, she began her modelling career. Soon after, she had the opportunity to appear in Three Coins in the Fountain during a trip to Rome visiting a daughter of her father's friend. Brett Halsey - an actor - was her first spouse. The couple also made Return to the Peyton Palace in 1960 following their wed. Luciana received custody of Charles, born 13 June 1961. The couple divorced within a year. Luciana and Tony Athony had a relationship between 1962 and 1970. Tony Athony played an actor and producer who was inspired by Luciana's work on the movie Green Slime. Based on his work, he created and composed his own Spaghetti Western hybrid that became popular.
